From November 22, featureCharity(Charity) is present on the SantaPocket application, becoming a bridge to help share love from generous people to difficult situations in a simple and convenient way.
The reason for the creation of the Charity feature
Originating from love, desire to share and sympathize with people in difficult circumstances, SantaPocket cooperates with volunteer organizations to implement digital transformation "Smart delivery solutions" in social work.
FeaturesCharitywas built to shorten the distance between donors and those in need of help. Here, Santa users or people with a compassionate heart can easily send items to reputable charities through the SantaPocket cabinet system. From there, these units will receive and donate items to the correct facilities in need.
Specifically, SantaPocket cooperated with the Red Cross District 1 to pilot a digital transformation program in the field of charity with the activity called "Love the old, love the young". Operating independently, completely non-profit and carried out on a voluntary basis to spread the warmth of love to the vulnerable.
The program mobilizes items to support daily living and health care such as diapers, books, etc. to people in difficult circumstances, specifically the elderly, children in difficult circumstances being treated at hospitals in District 1 and students at elementary, middle and high schools. The time to receive items starts from November 22 to December 15. After that, the Red Cross District 1 will send gifts to the above beneficiaries.
How to use Charity in volunteer work
To be able to donate items, donors should do one of the following two ways:
Method 1: You already have items and want to donate them at the store:
Go to a locker location near you >> Scan the QR code on the locker and select the "Send goods" feature >> Enter recipient information as the phone number of the volunteer of the volunteer organization >> The locker opens, place the item in and close the locker
Method 2: You don't have the item yet but want to contribute by purchasing through SantaMarket and sending it to charity
Open the SantaPocket app >> Select Market > Choose to buy items to donate > Enter the address as the charity organization's store location/direct address and volunteer phone number > Pay and complete the order
