DOING CHARITY IS EASY WITH CHARITY FEATURE

From November 22, the feature Charity (Charity) is available on the SantaPocket app, becoming a bridge to help share love from kind-hearted people to difficult circumstances in a simple and convenient way.

The reason for the Charity feature

Originating from love, the desire to share and sympathize with people in difficult circumstances, SantaPocket cooperates with charity organizations to implement digital transformation "Smart delivery solution" in social work.

Features Charity was built to bridge the gap between donors and those in need. Here, Santa users or those with a kind heart can easily send items to reputable charities through the SantaPocket system. From there, these units will receive and deliver the items to the right facilities in need.

Specifically, SantaPocket cooperated with the Red Cross of District 1 to pilot a digital transformation program in the charity sector with an activity called “Love the elderly, love the children”. The activity is independent, completely non-profit and is carried out on a voluntary basis to spread the warmth of love to the disadvantaged.

The program involves collecting essential items to support daily life and healthcare, such as diapers and books, for people in difficult circumstances, specifically the elderly, underprivileged children receiving treatment at hospitals in District 1, and students at primary, secondary, and high schools. Donations will be accepted from November 22nd to December 15th. Afterward, the District 1 Red Cross will distribute the donations to the beneficiaries.

How to use Charity in volunteer work

To donate items, benefactors can follow one of these two methods:

Option 1: You already have the item and want to donate it at the designated donation box:

Go to the nearest locker >> Scan the QR code on the locker and select the "Send Item" feature >> Enter the recipient's information, which is the phone number of a volunteer from the charity organization >> The locker opens, place the item inside, and close the locker.

Option 2: You don't have the item but want to contribute by making a purchase through SantaMarket and sending it to the charity.
Open the SantaPocket app >> Select Market > Choose the items you wish to donate > Enter the address (which is the charity's cashier/direct address) and the volunteer's phone number > Pay and complete the order
