The proportion of ethnic minority students is 90% (Gia Rai); of which 111 are registered for boarding. The boarding kitchen will contribute to ensuring the health of students, maintaining and improving the quality of local education.

SOS Children's Village Pleiku is currently caring for and raising 129 children in special circumstances. Of these, 93 children are living in 12 shelters named after flowers and 26 children are studying at colleges, universities and vocational schools. Each child at the SOS Village has a different situation such as: both parents have mental illness or the parents have had work accidents or the child was born to a mother who was abused... In particular, there is a child who was abandoned by his mother at the age of 1, living with his grandmother but she was infected with Agent Orange and could not raise or care for him, so when he was 3 years old, he was sent to the village. SOS Children's Village Pleiku currently has 12 special mothers. With their kind hearts, they have taken care of every meal and sleep for the disadvantaged and unfortunate children as if they were their own children.

From October 2023, the international sponsorship from Norway will end; instead, the current support for the children comes from the Gia Lai Provincial budget, because the revenue has not yet covered the expenses, so the village has stopped accepting children. The provincial budget optimizes the care for the children's meals and the income of the staff mainly comes from flexibly organizing preschool educational activities to cover the expenses for mothers and staff in the village. Accordingly, the mobilization and support of the "Nutrition for children in the highlands" program is necessary and contributes to ensuring that all children are cared for and develop comprehensively in both physical condition and health.

Currently, Santa is still working with the Red Cross of District 1 to organize the program "Love the Elderly, Love the Young" aimed at the elderly and children in difficult circumstances.
